Getting started
What is Glow 'N Rise?
Glow 'N Rise is a confidence transformation platform built around the Mirror — an AI-powered confidence companion that knows your story and helps you act on it. It is not therapy, not life coaching, and not a feed of affirmations you don't believe. It is a daily practice of choosing yourself, in small, real steps. Our promise is simple:
You are not broken. You are becoming. Every day we help you choose yourself.
Who is it for?
Women, mostly between 35 and 65, standing in some kind of in-between. Divorce. Leaving the wrong relationship. The career that ended, or the one that needs to. Children who grew up, retirement that arrived, a sense of purpose that went quiet. If you are rebuilding — or want to start — this was made for you.
What does a day actually look like?
Two small appointments with yourself. In the morning, the Rise Ritual: about five minutes to set an intention and choose one Brave Act — the email, the phone call, the walk you keep postponing. In the evening, the Glow Reflection: about seven minutes to celebrate what you did, notice what you felt, and journal. That is twelve minutes. The rest of the day belongs to your life, which is exactly where we want you.
Is there more than the morning and evening practice?
Yes, when you want it. Confidence Challenges like "30 Days of Choosing You" give your practice a spine. The Wanting Map helps you name what you actually want, and the Compass keeps you pointed toward it. Each week you get a Rise Review, each month a Becoming Report, and each year your Transformation Story — proof, in your own words, of how far you have come. None of it is homework. Take what serves you.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing happens, and that is by design. There are no streaks to protect and no guilt waiting for you when you come back. Life is the point, and sometimes life is loud. The Mirror will greet you like a friend, not like an app you disappointed.
I'm not good with technology. Will I manage?
Yes. If you can send a text message, you can use the Mirror. You write or talk the way you would to a friend, and it answers in plain words. There are no settings to master and nothing to configure. And if anything confuses you, email hello@glownrise.com — a real person will walk you through it.
The Mirror and AI
Is this just ChatGPT with a prettier name?
No. A general chatbot forgets you the moment the window closes. The Mirror remembers — your story lives in your Living Portrait, a memory you can view, edit, or delete anytime. It is built for one relationship only: yours with yourself. And it is designed to tilt toward real life — its job is to get you off the screen and into your day, not to keep you talking.
Can I trust what the Mirror says?
Trust it the way you would trust a wise friend: for honesty, not for expertise. The Mirror asks more than it tells. It will not diagnose you, predict your future, or flatter you into buying anything. When a question needs a doctor, a lawyer, or a financial professional, it says so and steps back.
Does the Mirror replace my therapist?
No — and it will tell you that itself, plainly. Therapy treats. The Mirror keeps you company while you practice being brave. If you are working with a therapist, keep going; the two fit well together. And if the Mirror senses you may need more than it can give, it will gently say so rather than pretend it is enough.
Will I end up needing it forever?
We built the Mirror to make itself less necessary. It nudges you toward real people and real rooms — the friend to call, the class to join, the conversation to have. There are no tricks designed to keep you inside the app. The goal is a woman who trusts herself, with or without us.
Privacy and data
Who reads my journal?
No one at Glow 'N Rise reads your journal as a matter of course — not our team, not advertisers, not some model in training. It will be encrypted at rest, never sold, and never used by us to train AI models — and our AI provider's contract must forbid training on it too, or we will not launch. We run zero analytics on journal content: we will only ever see that a member journaled, never what she wrote.
Two honest footnotes. The AI that writes each Mirror reply will process the words you send it — that is how it replies — and the no-training requirement above will cover that processing. And if you ask us for help with your account, or we have to investigate abuse, a security incident, or a legal requirement, a small number of authorized people may see specific content — access that will be restricted, logged, and used only for that purpose. Never casually, never out of curiosity.
Can I delete everything?
Yes — and proving it is a requirement we have set for launch. From inside your account, you will be able to export your whole journal first, then delete it all: purged from our live systems promptly, and from short-lived backups on a fixed schedule we will publish before the doors open — not archived somewhere we hope you forget about. We will never hold your story hostage.
Billing and cancellation
How much does it cost?
Membership is $25 a month, or $195 a year — which works out to $16.25 a month, a savings of 35%. Your first week is free either way. The first 500 founding members get a different deal: $149 a year, held at that rate for as long as their membership stays active. And journaling is free forever, for everyone.
What if I don't want to pay after the free week?
Then you keep the Doorway, our free tier. Journaling stays free forever, and you get three Mirror conversations a month. No guilt, no countdown timers, no nagging emails. The door stays open.
How do I cancel?
From your account settings, once the doors open — self-serve, and at least as easy as joining was. Before you go, we will offer a full export, so your words leave with you. No retention phone calls, no maze of buttons, no guilt. If leaving is you choosing yourself, that counts too.
Is there a guarantee?
On annual plans, yes: 30 days, money back, no forms to fight through. Email hello@glownrise.com and we refund you. Monthly members can simply cancel anytime and never be billed again.
Why is there no lifetime plan?
Because we would be selling a promise no one can guarantee. A service like this costs money to run every month it serves you, and lifetime deals get paid once and quietly hope you leave. We would rather charge a fair price and keep earning your yes. The closest we come is the founding member rate — $149 a year, held for as long as your membership stays active — which keeps the price honest on both sides.
Safety
What happens if I am in a crisis?
The Mirror is not built for crisis, and it says so gently the moment one appears. If you tell it you are thinking about ending your life or hurting yourself, it stops the exercises. It tells you plainly: this needs a human being, now. It gives you the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988, anytime, free, in the US — and encourages you to reach someone you trust. Confidence work can wait. You cannot be replaced.
